On March 24, 2025, at the 2025 U.S. Open, Team 16689D earned the prestigious Excellence Award and secured 3rd Place in the Skills Challenge.
On March 15, 2025, at the Oregon State Championship (Middle School Division), Team 16689D achieved a remarkable Triple Crown victory by winning the Robot Skills Challenge Champion, Tournament Champion, and the Excellence Award.

On January 30, 2025, at the Rumble in the Rockies Signature Event, Team 16689D earned the Amaze Award and reached the semifinals.
On December 7, 2024, at the CAIS VEX Robotics Show, Team 16689R claimed both the Robot Skills Champion and Tournament Champion. Pictured in the photo are team members Riley and Raymond.
On November 25, 2024, Team 16689A earned three awards at the Space City Signature Event in Houston: Tournament Finalist, 2nd Place in Skills, and the Think Award. This marked the first time a team from Oregon achieved a triple award win at a Signature Event
At the 2024 Space City Event, Team 16689A was interviewed by Pits & Parts, where they showcased their original mecanum wheel and lift intake design.
On November 2, 2024, Team 16689A achieved a triple crown at a local Oregon competition, winning the Excellence Award, Tournament Champion, and Skills Champion. Their Skills score of 104 ranked them 6th in the world at the time.
On April 22nd, Team 16689A posted their robot explanation video on YouTube, which has already garnered over 700 views. Their innovative robot design has inspired many, showcasing the team's dedication to sharing knowledge and spreading useful ideas within the VEX community.
Team 16689X ranked 7th in the Arts division at the World Championship and received the Create Award. Congratulations!
Team 16689D had an impressive debut season, participating in the Middle School World Championship and placing 34th in the highly competitive Engineering Division. As a first-year team, they achieved remarkable success, winning the State Tournament Champion title, the State Skills Champion title, and a Regional Tournament Champion title.
Team 16689E had an impressive debut season, participating in the Middle School World Championship and placing 7th in the Math Division. As a first-year team, they achieved remarkable success, winning the State Tournament Champion title, the State Skills Champion title, and a Regional Tournament Champion title.
The new season's team members got an early taste of the VEX Worlds experience.
Team 16689A participated in the US Open Event and placed first in the RED DIVISION. They allied with Team 1000A and advanced to the division finals. Although they unfortunately lost in the finals, they earned the Division Finalist! Congratulations!
Teams 16689D, 16689E, and 16689X swept the middle school division at the State Championship, winning the Tournament Champion, Skills Champion, Excellence Award, and Design Award. Congratulations!
Teams 16688E, 16689H, and 16689K excelled in the middle/elementary school division at the State Championship, collectively winning six awards: 2 Tournament Champions, Skills Champion, Excellence Award, Design Award, and Create Award. Congratulations!
Team 16689A participated in the Ignite Signature Event hosted by Microsoft. They reached the quarterfinals and competed against Team 1000A. Despite their loss, they received the Amaze Award! Congratulations to Team 16689A!
Team 16689A won their first Tournament Champion at Salem December VEX Tournament, alliancing team 1158X and defeating team 51581S and 51581E.
Congratulations to team 16689 ABC! 16689B were able to get to the division finals but unfortunately lost. Even though they lost, they were able to get the skills champion, with a total of 425 points! Team C lost on the division semi-finals, but they were able to be third place for skills with a total of 259 points. Due to a double qualify of 51581S, C team also qualified for worlds. 16689ABC all qualified for worlds championship.
Due to an accident we lost on semifinals, but 16689A still qualified for worlds because team received an excellence award. We worked really hard on our engineering notebook and our robot design for this. Besides, team 16689A were able to get a total of 222 points for skill, and we got the skill award for this tournament.

Team 16688G won the elementary school states teamwork challenge Champion.
This is the tournament when we changed drivers, Dora and Ellen from team 16689A were able to get the finalists in this tournament.
This tournament is huge, so teams were split into two divisions, fire and ice. Both of the divisions had two teams that gets into the finals. 16689A, we were able to get the division champion, but against the fire division champion, we lost 1-2. We got the finalists for this tournament.
In this high school tournament, team 16689B won the tournament champion, they were able to get 119 points in total.
VRC middle school team 16689A won the first VRC State Champion for Dracobots. They also received Excellent Award double qualifying for 2022 World Championship at Dallas. In the picture, from left to right, are Steven, Cathy, Peiyi. Congratulations!

We decided to start Dracobots Nonprofit Organization for Robotics Education by sharing our champion teams' experience, giving VIQC training classes for local elementary and middle school students for helping our community.
VIQC middle school team 16688C won the first World Champion for GA. Congrats Hao and Austin! Finally you guys made it on your last VIQC year!
The video is a high score achieved by team 16688B at Live Remote World Championship , which is also the highest score during the division matches. They finally received Teamwork Challenge Division Champions (WC), Excellence Award and overall final rank 4. Congrats Steven and Peiyi!

Because of the pandemic, team 16688B and 16688C became the only 2 teams remaining playing VEX. We have to move to Steven's garage, and those meetings also became the only social activity for the kids. They kept practicing skills and kept improving the robots. This video shows how they build the Gen 4 robot.
